Reflection TimeΒ

For my 17th birthday I really wanted to enjoy the company of my close friends and Montana family, part of that involved a hike. One of these folks pointed out the cross photographed by me. They marveled at how beautifully a couple of twigs wrapped in moss created a cross all naturally. Sharing their awe I squatted down with my Canon Rebel and snapped a very simple photo to appreciate God’s handiwork.   When I posted the photo on Facebook later I added this in the caption: Mark 8:34 And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, He said to them, β€œIf anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”

As I have been reflecting back on some fond memories recently, this one stood out to me quite particularly and I thought I’d share with all of you the smiles inspired by the cross formed in nature, as well as the truth and challenges within the Scripture. I hope that this little story has somehow blessed you 😊

Love to you all!

Let the Journey Continue,
